Substance Abuse Clinic

Substance Abuse Counseling in High Point, Greensboro & Martinsville, VA

Opioid dependence isn’t simply an addiction – it’s a disease. This disease affects not just the individual, but family members and friends, as well. Aside from causing physical changes, opioids also cause psychological problems. Those suffering from this disease are often unaware of their condition or are in denial of their symptoms. The first to notice the changes are usually the family members and friends.

Our outpatient program provides the patients with the ability to stay employed, maintain relationships, and not be in an inpatient program that can interrupt their lives. In order for our patients to get the most out of their Buprenorphine (Suboxone, Zubsolv, Bunavail) treatment experience, we feel that the counseling element is an important addition to their medication management sessions.

We offer a variety of different treatments.

Like all counseling, substance abuse counseling is different for every person. There are a variety of treatments that we specialize in and we will work with you to determine the best on for you or your loved one. The caring staff at Alex Wilson Counseling Services will do everything they can to manage this disease and will take an approach unique to the induvial needs of each and every client.

While opioid dependence can be an overwhelming and a trying experience, it is still treatable. With the therapeutic support we provide in our substance abuse clinic, along with empathy and the right medication, our office can assist you in stabilizing the addiction and providing you with additional coping skills.
